ZW3D Crash when closing one of several opened views

Does anyone else have serious issues with the stability of ZW3D 2025? Never had this problem on older versions. When i have several windows open with parts or assemblies and closing one of them, ZW3D crashes. Reproducable to 100% on my Notebook. When printing a drawing exactly the same problem. Sales representative has no clue, just claiming my memory has an error, wich it doesnt have for sure.

Intel(R) Core™ i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Intel 630 Graphics card
RAM: 32.0 GB
Win11 Home

I am not currently using the 2025 version, but I can suggest considering an upgrade to your hardware. If your graphics adapter is the Intel 630, please note that this GPU is integrated into the CPU. Modern 3D software typically requires a more powerful, dedicated graphics card with its own VRAM (not shared with system RAM).

Please verify whether your computer has a dedicated GPU and ensure it is manually selected for use with ZW3D. For large assemblies, a graphics card with approximately 8 GB of dedicated memory is generally recommended—especially when multiple windows or additional applications are running.

Your 32 GB of RAM is sufficient, and using Windows 11 Pro instead of the Home edition is also advisable.

While I cannot guarantee that these changes will resolve your issue, they will help ensure that external hardware and software factors are not contributing to the crashes.

Hi,
Yes, I can say that version 2025 wasn’t the most stable, and in my case, even though I have a Quadro graphics card and Windows 10 Pro.
I also experienced crashes when closing a tab, just as you described.

ZW3D 2026 is definitely much more stable.
