I had the same question. I contacted zdn (at) zwcad (dot) com, and Charles (Application R&D Engineer) replied with:

drive (.) google (.) com (/) file (/) d (/) 1R6oDwfEVYOBxrcfV4sqsbNLRtMNGzgPy (/) view

Unfortunately, that .pdf is out of date in a few places. The next issue I ran into was Chapter 4 (page 27), which didn’t work at all with Qt 5.9.7. There’s a bunch of .dll copy/paste stuff, or you can run a .bat shell script, but both are wrong. I reached out again to the above email, and the solution I got was a link to a “Designer_release” zip file with Qt4 .dll files:

drive (.) google (.) com (/) file (/) d (/) 1hk-2MRXIsEFvSb1eL4SR8atYS2Xs70Ic (/) view

…it looks like a modified version of QtDesigner specifically for ZW3D UI development. Although it’s old, it does work.

For future readers, should the above links not work, contact the support email above and ask for the latest stuff; the above info is for ZW3D 2025 development using C++.

Hello,
I have downloaded Designer_release, but I can not run App. It show me that file MSVCP100.dll missing…

Do you have same problem? Any solution

Thank you

MSVCP100.dll is part of a Visual C++ redistributable. To be clear, you need to run designer.exe, which has these .DLL dependencies:

This is used by programs that were developed using Visual Studio 2010. You want the 32 bit version, which is listed as X86 under Architecture; the Version should say 10.0.40219.325. Make sure you find the right one on the page, there are many files with the same name of “vcredist_x86.exe” under Link.
