Real extruded thread

Hi everyone ,
I wanted to ask the forum administrators if it was possible to ask ZWSoft if it can implement the truly extruded threading mode in the next versions of ZW3d…not just cosmetic as now.

There are good reasons why cosmetic is used.
Speed, speed and speed.
Much less compute required.
Hole wizard threads are tagged for drawings, CAM etc.

For the small number of times you need to matching a thread, modelling exactly what you want is not much of a CAD overhead.

Otherwise we need to see your reasons.

It’s definitely an esthetical question, someone might be interested in 3D printing or something…
