Working with the mold module, in this case I print multi-object.
I had to re-edit the division of each piece. Then the “combine” file, which is the one that combines the divisions of the two pieces in a single file, was updated (I had to force it) but anyway I got the two finishes of the cavity and core. (They are surfaces and not solid because I have gaps to close, but they were before).

Subsequently ZW rightly tells me that the trim sets also need to be updated. So I decide to update the core.

But in updating it lost the reference of the imported geometry.
How can I re-edit this connection?

I think about connection management but this part is not very clear to me

Thanks
Good practice would be to correct the imported geometry as the first step in a new part.
Then bring this new part into the model. That isolates the repair process and should also reduce the effort to get a good separation.

Yes, when moulding those files are automatically generated from Zw in the process of combining division into one peace and then proceeding to trim function of the workpiece for generating cavity and core.
So all those files in the pics are automatically generated, ad each of them have an import geometry as first operation.

My concern is that it lost reference to the object into the file when I have to modify the division or update the component due to costumer request. And then now I cannot figure out how the re-edit the import geometry operation, cause the link to file is good, but missing the object (due to probably that have change name or something during the update) and I am not able to select an alternative object.
By the way, doing a ref Shape solve this issues, at least this is the fastest option…

Thanks
