Export STEP and execute external .bat file

Hello everyone!

I have tried to do it by myself but I did not find the way, i hope you can help me.

Regardless of whether it is an assembly or a single part, how can I export the file in .step in a fixed path and execute a .bat file?
Is this possible?

Thanks!

Come faccio al termine della macro a lanciare un file batch di windows? E’ possibile?

That thing is a safety hazard, they don’t recommend it…

HI,He wanted to explore advanced play…

Ok, thanks!

Is it NOT recommend or impossible? I just need to start a simple bat file.

Because the implementation of BAT has the potential to create viruses。

Sorry, I can’t share…

Ok, I understand.

Is it possible to start an external application like MS excel? I can do what I need in this way too.

Hello,
I’ve created an API macro that exports all parts from the active assembly to STEP format.
Is this what you’re looking for? Check out the video on YouTube name " Macro for ZW3D 2025 that exports the parts of the active assembly to STEP format".

Thanks for your help!

I’m sorry but I cannot find the video. At the moment I succed in what I need. Thanks all for help!
