Dear forum members,
Since a few versions, ZW3D CAM has an option to create custom tool shapes.
However, these designs do not always (mostly not) work in 3X machining.
In Holland some big cutting tool brands are advertising with barrel shapes end mills.
This is a tool shape that has a flute with a big radius, instead of only a corner radius.
Advantage is that tilted walls can be machined with much bigger down step than normally would be possible with smaller tool diameters.
