Can't save drawing template

After opening the drawing template file, creating a new drawing sheet and making my customizations, and attempting to save, I get an error:

I’ve tried save as and saving it to another templates file in another location, but the configuration won’t allow me to set the path to the new file. IT says zw3d needs to restart then is reset back to the original file. How am I supposed to go about creating a default drawing template in ZW3D 2024?

The fix was to recursively change the permissions on the resources folder by adding my user and granting ‘full control’ in windows. No idea why this was wrong.
