I have not seen any reference to CAD Assistant app on the forum. This is a very useful viewer for step files and mesh files as it allows zooming and rotation of views from all directions. Where I find it useful is showing clients what the assembly looks like without having to take the time or space to fire up ZW3D. I run it on an Android tablet which is extremely portable and allows a discussion about the project on site. Oh and it is free from Open Cascade. It has no editing or mark-up capabilities.
